Featuring five courses paired with food-friendly sakes, we'll walk you through the meal and explain how to pair sake with modern Japanese cuisine. This event is a great way for those new to sake to learn the basics and for more advananced sake drinkers to sample different styles. 

Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at 6:30p.m.
Tickets are $70 per person (excluding sales tax and gratuity)

First Course:

“Awa-Yuki” Fluke wrapped with shiso leaves, topped with pickled plum and mashed yamaimo 

(Paired with Kaori- Junmai Gingo)


Second Course:

“Tomato no Amazu tsuke” Fresh tomato marinated in sweet vinegar, served with bonito jelly and fresh sake-shiso granita

(Paired with Miyosakae- Junmai)


Third Course:

“Mini Sake-Ikura Don” Thinly sliced salmon, ikura, tamago and wasabi root served over sushi rice

(Paired with Denshin Yuki- Junmai)


Fourth Course:

“Mikado” Crispy, lightly breaded beef served atop a spicy curry sauce

(Paired with Goriki- Junmai Ginjo)


Fifth Course:

“Fruit Harumaki” Strawberry and red bean spring roll with white chocolate sauce and chocolate mochi ice cream

(Paired with Yuzu Omoi-Tokubetsu Junmai)
